Even the real estate market fluctuates and goes up and down, but that doesn’t seem to bother our Bollywood celebrities at all. Some of them had bought their lavish holiday homes even when the real estate market in Dubai was crumbling (around 2008).
Things have definitely changed since then, and the Dubai market is regaining momentum making it an opportune buyer’s market.
Nevertheless, we take a look at the Bollywood celebs who already own a holiday home here in Dubai, and those who are planning to buy their holiday homes on the golden sands.
Bollywood Celebrities Who Own A Holiday Home in Dubai
Bollywood stars love Dubai so much that many of them have bought a place of dwelling here. The list of Bollywood celebrities snapping up homes in Dubai is growing. Stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sohail Khan and Mohanlal already own a house in Dubai.
Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor was here recently to help parents Rishi and Neetu buy a plush family home in the UAE. Recently, Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar also declared his intentions to create a base in Dubai. At that time, his wife Twinkle Khanna was actively looking on Palm Jumeirah for the perfect mansion.
Shah Rukh Khan owns a lavish property here, even actress Sameera Reddy has bought a house here.
Katrina kaif loves Dubai and recently, when she was quizzed whether her love for the city may see her follow in the footsteps of Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and invest in a home here, especially since Ranbir and his family is house hunting here too, Katrina had a different take on it. “I have a lot of sisters and my spare time is spent with them in London so if I do invest in a home, I would need it for family purposes,” she confessed, adding: “However, I am always open for a donation or a gift if anyone is interested. I particularly like Dubai Marina and The Palm island.” I’m sure Ranbir Kapoor would fulfill that dream some day.
Bollywood Celeb Shilpa Shetty Sells Her 2-Bedroom Apartment in Burj Khalifa, Dubai
Shilpa Shetty who used to own a two-bedroom apartment in the Burj Khalifa (gifted to her by husband Raj Kundra) have sold of their property. She felt the apartment was too small for a family with a kid.
Besides, Shilpa has not been coming to Dubai quite often as she had thought. She comes to dubai around twice a year, and thinks that its more practical to stay in a plush hotel rather than buy a house, which stays empty most of the time.
