Tough times continues for Kapil Sharma as Salman chooses Sunil Grover for promoting Tubelight.
It seems everything is going bad for Kapil Sharma these days, or perhaps he underestimated the popularity of Sunil Grover.
Salman Khan will be doing a special show to promote his movie Tubelight, and he has asked Sunil Grover, Sugandha Mishra and Ali Asgar to be a part of it.
The 2 hour show will be aired on Sony channel itself!

“Salman is very close to Ali Asgar and when he got to know that they are not doing anything for the past three months after their now infamous fight, he opted to do a special episode with the actors who quit Kapil’s show. Now, since Salman will shoot the two-hour special episode with Ali Asgar, Sunil Grover and team, chances of him appearing on The Kapil Sharma Show is very bleak. The episode will have Salman Khan and the cast of ‘Tubelight’.”
Several celebrities in the past had appealed to Sunil to get back on the show. Sony even offered Sunil a “no interaction with Kapil” clause along with a fee hike but Sunil refused to budge.
Now that Salman Khan has chosen him over Kapil Sharma to promote his upcoming film Tubelight, it speaks volumes about Sunil’s popularity and he must be really happy to see that.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma is still hoping that Sunil will return to his show someday.
On TKSS’ 100th episode, Sony asks Kapil Sharma to thanks Sunil Grover, Kapil defies channel
The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) recently completed its 100th episode, and Sony had requested Kapil to mention the names of Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar (the guys who left the show) during his thanksgiving speech on the 100th episode.
But guess what? Kapil Sharma went against the channel’s wish and didn’t take the names of any of those artists.
“Aaj humare show ka sauva (100) episode hai, humare sab darshako ka shukriya, sabhi celebrities, poori team-on stage and back stage, jo log humare saath hai aur jo nahi bhi hai, unn sab ka shukriya…,” said Kapil Sharma.
Sunil Grover, on hearing about the incident, chose to play it down. “Frankly I didn’t see the 100th episode, but what difference does it make if he didn’t take my name? I was an integral part of the show, wasn’t I? Why thank me? Mera bhi toh show tha woh,” said Sunil.
It seems the show may not go on for much longer (going by the dismal TRP of show). And now, with Kapil defying their orders, Sony may show the door to Kapil Sharma soon.
Sony, on the other hand, is maintaining good relations with Sunil Grover. Sunil gets to appear on various shows (courtesy Sony), which takes care of his EMIs. The channel might also offer Sunil a new show of his own.
Bharti Singh, Upasna Singh want Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover to patch up
Despite Sunil Grover making his intentions clear, that he doesn’t want to return on the Kapil Sharma Show, lot of people in the industry want them to patch and let bygones be bygones.
Bharti Singh and Buaji aka Upasna Singh are the two celebrities, who recently wished to see the two actors together again.
Kapil and Sunil have been thick friends. They know each other since a long time and shared a great rapport. It was very unfortunate that such a thing happened between them, but I feel everything will be fine. I want them to patch up. We are like a family and every family goes through ups and downs and have their share of fights. However, in the end, everyone comes together. I feel they will become friends again,” said Upasna.
Comedian Raju Shrivastav replaces Sunil Grover on The Kapil Sharma Show
Don’t be surprised if you see Raju Shrivastav once again on The Kapil Sharma Show. Its because he is replacing Sunil Grover on the Kapil Sharma show.
The makers of the show started scouting for new names to be associated with the show (after Kapil and Sunil’s public fight), and felt Raju Shrivastav was the best fit.
Will Raju Shrivastav be able to fill the vacuum created by Sunil Grover’s absence? Only time will tell, although there’s no denying that Sunil was the star attraction of the show ((Raju will play a totally new character).
Meanwhile, Sony TV officials are trying their best to convince the trio of Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar to get back on the show.
Kapil Sharma stands to lose Rs. 107 crore, as Sony plans to pull in the plug on The Kapil Sharma Show
With Sunil Grover, and a few other cast of the The Kapil Sharma Show, having made up their mind to quit The Kapil Sharma Show, rival channels are wooing them for a similar show. There’s more bad news for Kapil, Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is planning to pull in the plug on The Kapil Sharma Show (due to ongoing ruckus between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover). SET’s contract with Kapil was up for renewal, but the channel is now having second thoughts about it. If that happens, Kapil stands to lose close to Rs. 107 crore (Kapil Sharma is among the highest advanced tax payers in India from the Media & Entertainment industry).
Sunil Grover seems to have moved on, after his public spat with Kapil Sharma. Not only did he reply to Kapil’s apology (on Twitter), he was seen performing as Dr Mashoor Gulaati in a live stage show in Assam.
Here’s what Sunil Grover had said, responding to Kapil’s apology.
“Bha hi! Yes, You hurt me deeply. We with you has been a learning experience. Just one advice start respecting human beings also apart from animals. All are not as successful as you are. All are not as talented as you are. But if they all are talented like you, who will value you. So, have some gratitude towards their existence. And also, If someone is correcting you, don’t abuse that person. Refrain from using foul language in front of women who had nothing to do with the stardom you carry, they are by chance just traveling with you. Thanks for making me realise it was your show and you have power to throw out anybody, anytime. You are the wittiest, and the best in your field. But don’t act like a ‘God’. Take good care of yourself. Wish you lot more success and fame.”

Comedian Raju Shrivastav, worried that Kapil and Sunil’s public spat sends a wrong impression to the public about stand-up comedians, is willing to play a peacemaker between the two.
Kapil Sharma had apologised to Sunil Grover (on Twitter) a few days after the incident.
Paji @WhoSunilGrover sry if I hurt u unintentionally.u knw vry well how much I luv u. M also upset .love n regards always:)

Its being rumoured that Sunil Grover has decided to quit the show after his public spat with Kapil Sharma.
“Ab bahot ho gaya. Agar Kapil ka yehi rawaiya raha toh aur log bhi nikal jayenge (enough is enough, if Kapil continues in this (high-handed) manner others will also quit),” revealed an insider.
So what exactly happened?
The cast of the show was returning from Australia after a performance tour, when an altercation between Sharma (who was apparently drunk) and his crew broke out. Sharma even got physical with Grover in the flight. Kapil not only hurled abuses at Sunil (said things like “Tu Mera Naukar hai, tere show flop tha”), he even held Sunil by his collar and slapped him (Sunil stayed mum all the while).
Later Kapil did try to clarify by posting on FB.
However, sources close to the matter say that it is more about Sunil’s dignity now, and he should not return back on the show.
The two have fought in the past. Whether it will be business be as usual from here on, remains to be seen.
