When Navjot Singh Sidhu won the elections and became a state minister, he was very clear that he will continue being the judge on The Kapil Sharma Show.
Despite facing several criticism, Navjot Singh Sidhu was firm about his decision. He even said that “What I do in my free time is my business”.
However, Sidhu did not anticipate (even in his wildest dreams) that his ouster from the show would be triggered because of the spat between Kapil Sharma and Suni Grover.
Even though Navjot Singh Sidhu continues to be the judge on the comedy show, sources within the show indicate that Sidhu may not be able to continue for long as the moderator on Kapil’s show.

“With Sunil Grover and others on mass leave, The Kapil Sharma Show is in serious trouble. Sidhu Paaji says he won’t leave the show. He keeps insisting if Kirron Kherji can be an active parliamentarian and a TV host why can’t he be the same? However we hear there is tremendous party pressure for him to leave the show as he has been given the very important portfolio of Culture in the new Punjab government,” revealed an insider.
Irrespective of the Kapil-Sunil rift, Sidhu anyways is unlikely to find spare time as a state minister. Sidhu has been given the important portfolio of Culture in the new Punjab government, and there’s tremendous pressure from the party on him (to leave the show).
So even though Kapil Sharma wants Sidhu Paaji to stay, things do not look rosy from here on for Kapil’s show.
