Pullmantur, Spain’s largest cruise line, hopes to educate the Indian travelers more about Cruise tourism, and they’re using Bollywood to help them. The shooting of the upcoming Bollywood movie, Dil Dhadakne Do (directed by Zoya Akhtar and has multi-star cast), recently concluded aboard Spanish cruise company, Pullmantur Cruises’ ship, Sovereign.

The movie is shot in different areas of the ship, like the various restaurants and bars, lobby areas with glass lifts, auditoriums, swimming pools and open decks. The hospital facilities available on the ship ‘Sovereign’ and even the restricted areas such as the Bridge from where the Captain controls the ship, are shown in the movie.

Pullmantur Cruises hopes to educate Indian travelers about Cruise Tourism through this Bollywood movie, and the company is really excited about the release of ‘Did Dhadakne Do’ (like many others who’re hoping for a great movie from the talented Zoya Akhtar). Dil Dhadakne stars Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah.

Pullmantur organizes cruises in Europe and the Caribbean, and although its a Spanish company that caters more to the Spanish speaking travelers, their ships have printed materials in English to help the international travelers. It’s an intriguing option for those looking for a change from the usual English-speaking mass-market cruise lines.

The company claims they offer facilities like those at a five-star hotel, but at a nominal cost. Their ships stop at several ports, allowing tourists to visit many countries without the need to pack, repack and wait at airports.

In case you’re an Indian traveler who wants to know more about this company’s cruise offers, Pullmantur Cruises is represented by Griffon in India, who have their office in Mumbai.
