While getting a break in Bollywood is easier for some (say the star kids), its definitely not a smooth ride there after. That’s what Shraddha Kapoor is realising.
Here last few releases have failed at the box office – “OK Jaanu”, “Half Girlfriend” and “Haseena Parkar”.
But the actress (daughter of actor Shakti Kapoor) is not getting worked up about it. Instead she gives us a philosophical reply when asked about the failure, says ups and downs are part of life.
Many feel that Shraddha began her Bollywood journey with “Aashiqui 2” but that’s not true.
She did films like “Teen Patti” and “Luv Ka The End” in the beginning oh her career before finding fame with “Aashiqui 2”. Later, she found success with films like “Ek Villaina”, “ABCD 2”, “Haider” and “Baaghi”.

“I think that my initial films did very very well, so anything that didn’t match up to that will be viewed as falling short. I would love to say that the kind of love I still have received despite my movies doing well or not well is priceless,” Shraddha said.
Shraddha doesn’t regret doing “Haseena Parkar”, which was based on terrorist Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar.
She is quite excited about multi-lingual action film “Saaho”, which also stars Prabhas (Baahubali star).
