Shreya Sen: Shreya trained to be a psychologist but her passion was always photography. Shreya always aims to film a wedding like a story, where the viewers would want to keep coming back to. She says, “I love weddings where there’s lots of love and energy in the air or ones where a lot of thought has been put into everything from the bridal trousseau to the décor.” Shreya has assisted renowned fashion photographer R. Shades Photography: Run by the husband & wife duo – Ashwin & Jhalak. Ashwin is a film school grad from Vancouver Film School, Canada, whereas Jhalak has been an artist since childhood and has always been attracted towards colors and beauty. Ram Bherwani: Ram started his photography career assisting India’s leading fashion photographer Dabboo Ratnani, before branching out on his own. Ram himself is a fashion photographer but is a pro when it comes to celebrity weddings. He has shot the weddings of celebrities like Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, Vivek Oberoi. Ram’s portfolio also includes weddings within high-profile families, such as that of Ashni Biyani (Kishore Biyani’s daughter), Amit Bhosale (son of Avinash Bhosale), and more. The grandest wedding that Ram has shot was in Suncity, South Africa, which was a Rs. 100-crore wedding.

Cimmaron Singh: She’s one of the very few women photographers in India who has a great portfolio of work and is also extremely busy. She was the only photographer present at Saif Ali Khan’s and Kareena Kapoor’s dawat-e-walima (reception) hosted by Sharmila Tagore, which was a private, and elegant celebration with close friends and family. Vinayak Das and Snigdha Sheel (Photo Tantra): Vinayak Das and Snigdha Sheel were perhaps the first husband and wife team in India to start shooting Indian weddings. Vinayak confesses that he’s a self-taught photographer, and loves travelling to new destinations, especially to experience varied cultures and also to meet interesting people. The team had photographed the wedding of Hollywood actor Kunal Nayyar and former Miss India Neha Kapur, which was set in various farmhouses at the President’s Estate and Delhi. Their photographic style is a mix of photojournalism and glamour photography. Besides India, the team has also done shoots at various foreign destinations.
