Alia Bhatt has acting in her genes. Blessed with good looks, not only is she a talented actress, she’s also a good singer. After giving a few hits, she’s heading towards super-stardom and is now in a position to reject roles.
Like most other star kids, Karan Johar may have launched Alia in Bollywood, but what she has achieved till now is purely on her merit.
Even at such a young age, her show-reel boasts of a wide range of films. She will further be seen in a few interesting projects in the future.
Alia Bhatt was appreciated for her acting skills in Highway, but she took it further up with her performance in Udta Punjab. She was ready to throw away her glamorous avatar to ace the role of a Bihar migrant.
Though she found her way into Bollywood through nepotism, but her hard work and her will to become an artist, brought her here. We’ve seen many actors come and go in Bollywood, but artists are rare. And Alia Bhatt is surely a piece of art; a director’s actor.

Well, some think that she’s acting pricey, but that’s how it works in the industry.
The ‘Badrinath ki Dulhaniya’ actress had turned down Sanjay Dutt’s comeback movie (after completing his jail term) which was based on father-daughter relationship (the role was taken up my Aditi Hydari).
It seems, Sanjay Dutt even asked Karan Johar to put in a word, and also spoke to Mahesh Bhatt in order to get Alia on board. But Alia, not convinced with the role, refused the offer.
