With Bollywood trying out movies in different kinds of genres, even the Bollywood actresses are getting to do more than just sing & dance around trees. In recent years, several Bollywood actresses got the opportunity to showcase their tougher side, be it fighting with the antagonists or getting out of risky situations.
So which Bollywood actress do you think can pull-off Hollywood style action scenes & do stunts, something that can impress even the James Bond filmmakers? Lets take a look at some of the leading ladies of Bollywood, who can raise their game if required.
Few names that come to the mind straight away include:
Priyanka Chopra: She’s already playing an FBI agent in the american television show ‘Quantico’. She has also displayed her tough & athletic side in the movie Mary Kom. she will also be playing the role of a tough cop in her upcoming film ‘Jai Gangaajal’. So definitely, Priyanka would be among the hot favorites.
Deepika Padukone: She’s another hot favorite and has already impressed with her action stunts in movies like ‘Race 2’ and ‘Chandani Chowk To China’. Her height works in her favor and gives her a definite advantage.
Katrina Kaif: Kat may have done some action movies like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ & ‘Phantom’. She definitely has got the looks, but doesn’t look quite ‘tough’ onscreen.
Other Bollywood actresses who gave done action scenes in films include, Taapsee Pannu, who got to do a superb action scene in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’. Another actress Nimrat Kaur will soon be sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar in edge-of-the-seat thriller ‘Airlift’. Even Khiladi Akshay Kumar had to play second fiddle to Amy during the action scenes in Prabhudeva’s ‘Singh is Bliing’.
Amy is basically a British model/actress, who has been in India for a few years now. She has already worked with top director Shankar before (played the leading lady in the movie ‘I’).
Amy Jackson definitely looks like the dark horse here. Priyanka & Depika, better watch out; Amy could very well be the next Bond girl!
