Remember the income tax raid that happened at Priyanka Chopra’s house in the early hours of the morning, and the person to open the door was Shahid Kapoor?

Their relationship was never hidden (in fact everyone seem to adore them), but with Priyanka Chopra’s career taking off in the US, she left Shahid Kapoor. The couple never came face to face after that for a very long time; even at award functions.

However, the two happen to be present at the IIFA 2016 held in Madrid, where Shahid Kapoor was the host and Priyanka Chopra was one of the performers.

And their awkwardness was clearly visible on stage (which many were expecting), but soon the professionals in them emerged, once the various acts and performances started rolling one after the other.

A leading daily reported that the duo shared a hug backstage after the actress won a couple of accolades for her performance in Bajirao Mastani.

When the actress was leaving the stage after winning a few awards, Shahid and Priyanka shared a big hug!

Now, that’s really cool and a mature way to deal with things.
