Former Bollywood Actress ‘Mamta Kulkarni’ Face of An International Drug Cartel?
Former hottie and Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni, who once posed topless for a magazine, and who vanished away all of a sudden from Bollywood is back in the news. But for the wrong reasons.
Mamta Kulkarni who’s settled in Kenya (she changed her name to hide her identity) after marrying a big businessman in Kenya, and was on the verge of returning to Bollywood as a producer (Mamta’s production house has already helped several Indian films to shoot in Kenya), may find it difficult to get her second innings in Bollywood started (at least as of now).
And that is because Mamta’s husband Vijay ‘Vicky’ Goswami is not a businessman but a drug lord, a leader of international drug cartel.
Mumbai police recently which seized a huge amount of drugs, and after further investigations, they revealed that Vicky Goswami, was the kingpin of the drug operation. The 20 tonnes of ephedrine was seized from a Solapur factory (in Maharashtra). According to the Thane police, gangs in India, Poland and some other European countries had planned to send the consignment to Eastern Europe from Mumbai via Gujarat.
Mumbai police are also trying to ascertain if Mamta kulkarni had a role in the international drug ring that tried to smuggle in the contraband.
Sources in the police say Mamta was very likely the face of the ring.
This is because, her husband Vicky cannot leave Kenya because of an Interpol notice against him, so he gets Mamta to meet clients in various countries. He even uses her name to carry out bank transactions and to route huge sums from drug deals through the hawala channel.

Do Not Hold Water Bottles for Others in Airports: Drug Smuggling Warning
The following message (includes a video) has been widely circulated on the internet and on social media, it warns people not to hold or carry items such as water bottles for other people when in airports as it may contain illicit drugs.
AT AIRPORT, NEVER HELP ANYBODY BY HOLDING EVEN FOR A SHORT TIME, HIS OR HER WATER BOTTLE OR Anything else. This warning has come from an officer working at the airport. If you happen to buy a water bottle at the airport, please check the bottle. BEWARE of fake water bottles. Be careful !!!!
At the airport or close to any customs service, never accept or help somebody to hold his/her bottle of water or other objects , even for an elderly person or a pregnant woman, You could be arrested for cocaine or illegal drugs possession. In Singapore/Dubai, that means the Death Penalty !! Tell them to put the item on the floor or at any other place…
Watch this video/clipping (shared by the US Customs) to understand. Drug/Cocaine dealers are very smart people.
While it may not be completely true and it looks unlikely that you could be arrested simply for briefly holding someone else’s water bottle, its better to be cautious and use common sense while travelling. If someone (stranger or even an acquaintance) asks you to carry ANY item across a border while travelling, you have to be cautious. Also, its better to keep a close eye on your luggage and carry-on bags.
