Star Kid Seen Horse Riding in the Beautiful Waters in Bahamas

April 15, 2016 by BollywoodPresents Team

Bahamas

Known for its exotic islands, the Bahamas is one of the most filmed locales in the world (for Hollywood productions), because of its proximity to the United States and the incentives offered by the local Government.

Bahamas has an abundance of beaches and hot-spot locations.

But what about Indian films? Have the Islands been shown on the big screen in Bollywood movies?

Films Shot in Bahamas

Bollywood’s first underwater film ‘Blue’ (starring Akshay Kumar) was partly shot in The Bahamas (Nassau). Most of its action scenes were shot underwater in the Bahamas, for which the cast had to undergo extensive training in underwater stunts.

It was one of the most expensive Indian movies made at the time of its release, because of its multi-star cast, because of its exotic shooting locations, and also because it featured a guest performance by ‘Kylie Minogue’ (in the ‘chiggy wiggy’ song).

Apparently, international pop star ‘Kylie Minogue’ was paid a whopping one million dollar to sing a song in the film. And the budget of the film was more than Rs 100 crore.

While shooting for the film ‘Blue’ in Bahamas, Sanjay Dutt got an opportunity to see his daughter Trishala Dutt (daughter of Sanjay Dutt’s first wife, the late actress Richa Sharma). Sanju’s wife of four months, Manyata was also present. Trishala is a student at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, and expressed her desire to join films.

Honeymooners Paradise

Bahamas is an island country, comprising of over 700 beautiful islands, extends 760 miles from the coast of Florida on the north-west and Haiti on the south-east. The best part about this place is that with so many islands to explore, you are not confined to one particular place, and can keep exploring all through your stay. The perfect sun overhead and the silver sand makes Bahamas an ideal place to spend your honeymoon.

A perfect wedding accompanied by a perfect honeymoon is what every couple aspires for. Shilpa Shetty and London based businessman Raj Kundra went to honeymooners paradise Bahamas for their honeymoon. They stayed at the luxurious Atlantis resort (known for its unique blend of nature and luxury), located in the heart of the Paradise Island, known for an enriched marine life and home to the biggest casino in all of the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
