As per BMC’s notice, the following violations were carried out at Kangana Ranaut’s Pali Hill office – A toilet was converted into an office cabin, the storeroom was converted into a kitchen, an illegal pantry was set up on the ground floor, a wooden partition was put up in the living room, the poistioning of the staircase was altered, there was also change in position of the main gate among other changes.
Several Bollywood celebrities came out in support of Kangana to oppose the demolition of Kangana Ranaut’s Bandra office.
Though I did not like @KanganaTeam 's comment comparing Mumbai to POK I am appalled by the revenge demolition carried out by @mybmc You do not have to stoop so low. @CMOMaharashtra please intervene. There is a pandemic we are dealing with. Do we need this unnecessary drama?

BMC demolishes part of Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Vfx office
A couple of years back, Brihan Mumbai Mahanagar Corporation (BMC) had demolished an illegal ramp constructed outside Shah Rukh Khan‘s bungalow Mannat. This time, BMC has gone after Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies VFX office.
As per reports, the fourth floor of the DLH Enclave building in Goregaon, was illegally turned into a cafeteria for the employees.
“Shahrukh had covered an open terrace measuring 2000 sq.ft. adjoining his office and converted it into a canteen, which the BMC officials felt was a death trap.
BMC had issued a notice to SRK asking him to remove the roof. Shahrukh moved court asking for a stay but did not get any relief. BMC then decided to go ahead with the demolition.
As per reports, the demolition was carried out in a peaceful manner.
“Red Chillies Vfx is a tenant and not the owner of the property mentioned. The building has an open area outside with seating which employees use for eating food that they get from home. It is not an operational canteen. The part which the BMC has demolished are the energy saving solar panels which provide clean energy to the entire Vfx building. Red Chillies Vfx is taking this up with the concerned authorities at the BMC,” official statement from Red chillies Vfx.
BMC acted against illegal alterations in the past
BMC has acted against several Bollywood celebrities in the past, demolition notices were served to Rani Mukherjee for illegally altering her bungalow and to Sonu Sood for illegally altering his restaurant.
However, activists claim that Bollywood celebs are soft targets, and that is why BMC is targeting them to demonstrate they are doing their job. There are several establishments and societies against which the BMC has not acted, as they are associated with powerful politicians.
