‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ (2019)
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kriti Kulhari and Mohit Raina.
The film is based on Indian Army’s “surgical strikes” across the Line of Control (LOC) following an attack on an Army base in Uri, in which 17 Indian soldiers were killed.
Border (1997)
Directed by by J.P Dutta, the movie is based on the Battle of Longewala during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. The movie is a multi-starrer and features several actors like Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Raakhee, Jackie Shroff, Tabu.
The movie has one of the most popular patriotic songs of all time ‘Sandese aate hai’.
Lakshya (2004)
Directed by Farhan Akhtar, the movie features Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta. The movie is about on a lazy boy turning into a responsible army officer. The first half shows the army life and the second half focuses on the 1999 Kargil War.
