F.I.R. actress Kavita Kaushik quits Facebook
Kavita Kaushik, well known for playing a tough police woman in TV serial ‘FIR’ has quit Facebook. She says FB is turning out to be a place where you get to see morphed nude pcitures of yourself (if you are an actress).
Kavita says she will be available to friends over a phone call.

Here’s what she posted, “Facebook is a time guzzling monster where friends seem to be arguing strangers, colleagues seem to be political party candidates preparing to take over the country cos change toh hone se rahi , I swear IL end up getting a huge dog into my flat and give it the dullest life If I see one more dog video! and a place where one gets to see morphed nudes of yourself if one is an actress ! All this would’ve hooked me a couple of years back (not the morphed pics that always makes me livid) but now somehow it seems to have become an assault to my sense of taste, time and attention ,So I really think I’m a misfit here. Clear the clutter is my new thing you can call it a fad , call it anything behind me those who wanna cos I am out, any of you who genuinely gives a f*ck has my number, call me come over there’s always food n drinks at home we can socialise n talk about anything ! anytime! And have way more fun I assure u, so Fu FB ! Bye doston aur parivar , mast raho. [sic]”

Sonu Nigam Deletes Twitter Account
Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s Twitter account suspended, Sonu Nigam quits twitter in protest…
Recently singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s twitter account was suspended for his abusive tweets against female Twitter user Shehla Rashid, a JNU student. Sonu Nigam shut his Twitter account in protest saying it was unfair to ban Abhijeet.
Sonu Nigam says Twitter is ‘one-sided’ and ‘everyone is angry.’

Besides referencing Abhijeet, Sonu Nigam also mentioned BJP parliamentarian (and actor) Paresh Rawal who has been lacerated online after tweeting that author Arundhati Roy should be ‘tied to army jeep.’ Shehla Rashid, whom Abhijeet attacked, is a JNU student and activist who made allegations of sex trafficking by some BJP leaders.
Sonu Nigam had nearly 6.5 million followers on the micro-blogging site.
Here are screenshots of Sonu’s last few tweets that he posted announcing his departure from Twitter.

Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s account was suspended after an offensive tweet about Shehla Rashid was reported. Ms Rashid then thanked people for their support and wrote.
Sincere thanks to everyone for the support. Abhijit had to delete his tweet.
His Twitter account has also been suspended. 🙂— Shehla Rashid (@Shehla_Rashid) May 23, 2017
Sonu Nigam was recently branded ‘anti-Muslim’ for complaining online about being woken early morning by the azaan (Muslim call to prayer). Sonu ended up shaving his head on camera in defiance of a cleric’s offer of a cash reward to anyone who tonsured the singer.
