One of the best ways to keep yourself entertained is to watch comedy movies, more so when you have friends coming over or are watching it with family.
You can always go to the movie theatres, but most of the time either there are no good movies playing at that time, or you have to stand in long queues to get the ticket. You also need to get dressed up, and then drive or commute all the way to the theatres.
Above all, they can turn out quite expensive! Make sense once in a while to watch one of those blockbusters, but not always.
That is why video sites such as YouTube are so popular. Just connect your laptop to the big screen and you all can enjoy the entertainment on the big screen.
Bollywood Comedy: Industry Mourns Demise of Comedian Razak Khan (Babu Bisleri, Ullas Bhai)
Veteran comedian Razak Khan, known for portraying funny (and quirky) characters like Babu Bisleri, Ullas Bhai, Ninja Chacha, Popat in Bollywood comedy movies, died of a heart attack (June 1, 2016).
The actor has worked in several big films – Hello Brother, Baadshah, Raja Hindustani, and more.

Sad to hear about passing away of Razzak Khan. His finest performance in 'Dubai Return' with @irrfan_k unfortunately remains in the cans.

Best Bollywood Comedy Movies
The list of classics has to include movies like Padosan, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Angoor, Golmaal & Choti Si Baat (both Amol Palekar), Chupke Chupke (Dharmendra), Baawarchi, Chashme Buddoor, Bombay to Goa.
There were lots of Amitabh Bachchan movies in the seventies that had lots of comedy content — Satte Pe Satta, Sholay, Namak Halaal, Amar Akbar Anthony, but were not outright comedy movies.

Then you have the whole bunch of Govinda’s comedy movies; Govinda & Kader Khan (also David Dhawan) were instrumental in reviving the comedy genre after a long gap.
Other directors who have made some really popular Bollywood comedy movies:
- Rajkumar Santoshi: Andaz Apna Apna, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Phata Poshter Nikla Hero
- Rohit Shetty: All the Best, Golmaal series
- Anees Bazmee: No Entry, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng
- Raju Hirani: Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., 3 Idiots
