Salman Khan shares cricket match video featuring legends Dilip Kumar & Raj Kapoor

Salman Khan recently re-tweeted an old cricket match played by Bollywood stars that included legends Dilip Kumar & Raj Kapoor.

The video, repackaged to the IPL theme, initially went viral few months back. But with Salman Khan sharing it again, the video is going viral again.

According to one of the comments on Facebook, the charity match (played for drought-struck Maharashtra) was played at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park in 1962 or thereabouts. However, another comment says that it was hosted by the Maharaja of Patiala in 1956.

The stadium was packed as people came in to watch Team Dilip Kumar play Team Raj Kapoor.

Other Bollywood actors who played the match included Shashi Kapoor, Mehmood, Joy Mukherjee, I S Johar, Shubha Khote and more.

And going by the overall atmosphere, people (including the Bollywood actors) were passionate about cricket back then too.
