As expected with any Salman Khan film ‘Dabangg 3’ has opened to mixed reviews. However, we feel ‘Dabangg 3’ is a highly entertaining masala movie (expected from a Prabhu Deva directed film). The movie may have a familiar story with several songs, but will definitely appeal to all Salman Khan fans out there. Enjoy Chulbul’s swag throughout the movie; Sudeep, the bad guy (from South) is the man to look forward to.

Looks like someone forgot the script, because it is unbelievable that Bollywood is still making these movies at the end of the decade, outdated, mothballed, insisting on making women wait for their ‘rakhwalas’.No ‘pyaar’, no ‘thappad’, and even Shirtless Salman eliciting only muted ‘seeties’? What’s the point then?

The clash between Chulbul Pandey and the bad guy pans out along familiar lines, with Sudeep lending the face-offs a degree of novelty. But that is anything but enough. Dabangg 3 is a familiar one-way street that holds no surprises. It goes nowhere we haven’t been before.

Overall, the film has all the ingredients required for a massy masala entertainer – good action, music, drama and, of course, Salman packing all of this one story. The portions where the actor throws in comedy while doing hardcore action scenes are nicely done. ‘Dabangg 3’ shows Salman in his element – throwing deadly blows at the villains amidst all the smoke, dust and fire, while you can hear chants of Hudd Hudd Dabangg in the background. And those certainly will be a paisa-vasool moments for Salman Khan’s fans.
