Film celebrities buy Bajaj V bikes, made of INS Vikrant, to keep a piece of history. The bikes use parts made from the invincible metal of India’s de-commissioned aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.
Film actor Rana Daggubati recently bought a piece of history – the Bajaj V bike (150cc commuter bike). The actor is a bike lover, and feels proud to own the Bajaj V bike.
“It is a part of history that you have, it’s the last one year of my life i have only been spending researching on what happened in the 1971 war, how all the incidents took place and what India went through when the war was actually taking place and i know the importance of INS Vikrant at that time of the 1971 war. I know that it was the most powerful and the most celebrated aircraft carrier that India had. It’s lovely that they have made apart of it for all of us Indians to have this piece. So i think i should be the proud owner of it,” Rana Daggubati

Aamir Khan uses Bajaj V
Earlier, Aamir Khan had become a proud owner of the new Bajaj V motorcycle. Aamir bought the V15 bike after he came to know that the new launch from Bajaj uses metal from INS Vikrant, which played a role in the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
Rajiv Bajaj, managing director of Bajaj Auto, made a unique customisation done for Aamir’s Bajaj V. Aamir’s bike has a customized embossing of the initial ‘A’ (for Aamir Khan) on the fuel tank, and one-off graphic design of “Chote Lal” affectionately inscribed on the rear seat cowl.
“The V is a special bike and I wouldn’t compare it with anything else. It has a piece of history ingrained into it. For me, it’s a proud moment to own a piece of metal from INS Vikrant which was the military pride of India for decades,” Aamir Khan
