When film celebrities turned wedding planners for the wedding of their close ones – family and friends.
Tamannaah Bhatia recently turned wedding planner for her US-based brother Anand Bhatia’s wedding. She posted a few pictures on Instagram, “Happiness is decking up for your brother’s wedding in gorgeous lehengas.”
Tamannaah even performed during the mehendi ceremony.
Taapsee Pannu and Amit Sadh turn wedding planner for a friend
Actors Taapsee Pannu and Amit Sadh donned the hat of wedding planners to help with a friend’s wedding preparation, it was their gift to them.
The actors thoroughly enjoyed their new role, organising everything for the wedding ceremonies of their friend.
“It was coincidental that while shooting for our film, based on wedding planning, we realised that one of our friends (a crew member) is also getting married soon. Since wedding ceremonies are so special, we thought of making it more special for him and give a small gift from our end by planning his wedding. The wedding planning company was more than happy to work together. They taught us all the basics of planning a wedding and co-operated with us wherever we were going wrong” says Taapsee.

Wedding Planner Shah Rukh Khan Late for Product Launch
For his movies (especially the ones that he produces), SRK does not leave any stone unturned. He oversees the prep-work, and doesn’t just look into the technical aspects, but also making sure that the food arrangement for the performers and fellow actors is taken care of.
Basically he turns into a wedding planner making sure that everyone who comes in his studio is having a great time. Now that’s a really nice thing to do, being a really great host!
Because of his preparations, once, he was late by two hours for the launch of an app, where a considerable number of fans/guests had turned up to get a glimpse of the superstar.
Obviously they were disappointed, considering that the event was planned in the same city. Later, Shahrukh Khan attributed the delay to his role of wedding planner as he was busy making sure all the arrangements were right.
But perhaps he needs to buckle a bit on the planning part and on time management too (wedding planners are good at that), else he may not have reached late for the event, and that too by two hours. Or is it another PR stunt to promote his new film?
