GiMA Awards 2016: ‘Bajirao Mastani’ Bags Max Awards

The Global Indian Music Academy Awards (GiMA Awards) recognizes and honours the best in Indian music. GiMA honors both film as well as non-film music in separate categories.

GiMA is an attempt to bring together the Indian music as well as the film fraternity to honor the best musicians in India.

The red carpet at Gima Awards 2016 saw a good mix of celebs from Bollywood and Music world.

As expected, ‘Bajirao Mastaani’ walked away with top honours at this award ceremony as well. The movie won the Best Background Score, Best Music Arranger and Programmer and Best Engineer awards. Bhansali also won Best Music Director for his film.
