The trailer of Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Haseena Parkar’ is out. The film is a true story based on the real life of the sister of India’s Most Wanted don – Dawood Ibrahim.
With this movie, Shraddha’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor will also make his Bollywood debut. This will be the first time the siblings will be seen in a film together. Siddhanth plays the role of Dawood, and it seems he is keen to follow in the footsteps of his dad Shakti Kapoor.
Shraddha Kapoor got emotional during one of the scenes with brother Siddhanth Kapoor enacting the character of Dawood Ibrahim. In the film, the father is mercilessly hitting Dawood (Siddhanth) with a belt. Although it was a prosthetic belt, he was hitting him so hard that Shraddha could feel him getting hurt.
“She wept endlessly. For the first time, she had seen somebody hit her brother with a belt. She really cried a lot. It is one of my favourite scenes and I’ve retained that shot of her crying,” says Director Apoorva Lakhia.
As per reports, Shraddha has worked very hard to get into the skin of her character, as you can see from the trailer. She looks sinister as Haseena and also has got some badass dialogues like, “Logo ne izzat bakshi, humne qabool ki”. Apart from undergoing several physical changes, including sporting prosthetics, the actress also did lot of research for the role.
The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
The trailer keeps you hooked, it shows how Haseena Parkar’s life changes after she gets implicated in a case with no involvement of her.

Just wondering if the makers should have named the film ‘Aapa’ (Haseena Parkar’s nickname), similar to Arjun Rampal starrer Daddy (Arun Gawli’s nickname).
