Indian soldiers (CRPF jawaans) carrying voting machines for elections were assaulted in Kashmir by some youths, celebrities react in anger.
A video showing Kashmir youth hitting and slapping Indian soldiers (CRPF jawaans), returning after election duty in Srinagar has gone viral.

While no-one from the film fraternity has commented on the video, a couple of Indian cricketers have voiced their protest.

“This is Unacceptable ! Cant do this to our CRPF jawaans .This rot has to stop. Badtameezi ki hadd hai,” Virender Sehwag.
When asked why he did not retaliate to the beatings, the CRPF jawan said he wanted to protect the electronic voting machines he was carrying.
