The fact that the Indian media industry (especially television) is rocking can be gauged from the fact that so many foreign creative artistes are open to working in Bollywood.
Now its the turn of Los Angeles-based choreographer Michael Schwandt to make his presence felt and showcase his talents on the singing show “India’s Raw Star” on Star Plus.
The choreographer, who has worked with the likes of pop singers like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga will introduce the concept of music choreography and will work with the contestants to visually enhance their singing performance.
Michael Schwandt’s extensive body of work can be seen on television, commercials, corporate industrials, music videos and live special events, while crossing all genres of dance.
As Stage Director on many projects, Michael contributes to the overall look of a project influencing style, costume, lighting, musical arrangement and set design.
Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh will mentor all the contenders from across India, and the show will be hosted by model-actress Gauahar Khan. The show will also have on-board sound engineer Ashish Manchanda, who has worked with late pop star Michael Jackson.
