Cheating Man gets caught after using wife’s phone to book Uber, decides to sue Uber after wife decides to divorce him.
Do you think only the lives of film celebrities are interesting? Well, life can be interesting for others as well.
An allegedly cheating husband used his wife’s iPhone to book an Uber (after logging in his account). However, a glitch in Uper’s app caused the wife to keep receiving notifications whenever the man used Uber’s service.
The frequency of the bookings and the destinations aroused her suspicions (their sixth sense works best in such circumstances) that he was having an affair.
And when the fact was confirmed, the wife filed for divorce, reports Le Figaro.
The man decided to went his anger on the online transportation giant and is suing Uber for $45 million, the Daily Dot reports. He entirely blames the app for the end of his marriage.
The problem seems to be confined to iPhone iOS versions of the Uber app. The Local predicts more such lawsuits because of the glitch.
“Uber doesn’t publicly comment on individual cases, and especially those which concern things such as a divorce procedure,” Uber.
In the Bollywood movie ‘Aitraaz’ (Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra), a glitch in the mobile phone gives an interesting twist to the plot.
Can you think of any other film where a technical glitch plays such an important part in the movie?
