Want to change the world? Pay it forward! Yes, just do random good deeds (that are challenging for you as well) to three people. And instead of expecting them to pay you back, ask them to pay it forward. Each one of them should pay it forward to three different individuals, and the cycle should continue.
Well, if you look at the chart, you would definitely believe that an idea like that can change the world. By the way, that chart would look similar to one that most MLM (network marketing) folks make.
But wait a second! Isn’t that idea copied from the movie ‘Jai Ho’? Those who have seen that movie will recollect watching Salman Khan dole out that advice to everybody in the movie.
But hold on!
‘Jai Ho’ is a remake of the Telugu movie ‘Stalin’ directed by A. R. Murugadoss. So the original idea must belong to Mr. Murugadoss?
Definitely Not true!
This idea was first used in the Hollywood movie “Pay it forward”.
Inspired from the book by Catherine Ryan Hyde of the same title, “Pay it forward” is a movie that inspires you to do something for the betterment of the society. One small bit at a time…in your own special way. The movie featured Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt and Haley Joel Osment in the lead roles.
By the way, not just the movie, even the trailer of Salman Khan’s “Jai Ho” was apparently inspired by this Hollywood flick “Pay It Forward”.
This movie really proves that even individuals can make a big difference, in the larger scheme of things.
Happy with this piece of information? Well, instead of thanking me, go out and pay it forward to three individuals…
