
British actor Rowan Atkinson, popularly known as Mr Bean, was reported dead recently. The false tweet, which claimed that Mr Atkinson had died in a car crash, was liked/shared over 300,000 times (that explains his popularity).
However, website Hoax Alert debunked the story as false, much to the delight of his fans.
The tweet read: “FOX BREAKING NEWS : Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) died at 58 after car accident. -March 18, 2017,”
Following the ‘fake news’ announcement, celebratory tweets like this one started trending:

Rowan Atkinson, was also falsely announced dead in 2016.
Atkinson was married to Sunetra Sastry (born to Indian brahmin father Siddhavattam and British mother Marita). The two ended their marriage after 24 years together. Rowan Atkinson and Sunetra Sastry have two children together.

Sunetra Sastry is a BBC make-up artist by profession. Atkinson met Sunetra on the sets of the Legendary Historical Comedy Series ‘Blackadder’, where she was working aa a make-up artist. Atkinson married the make-up artist in 1990.
In his 2010 autobiography, openly gay actor Stephen Fry admitted that he’s “90 percent gay” and that one of the women he’s been attracted to his Sastry. That’s despite serving as the best man for her wedding.
Atkinson has earned significant amount of money in his film career and is considered to be one of Britain’s wealthiest entertainment figures. His current wealth is estimated to be over 130 million dollars.
Few years back, Rowan Atkinson was seen holidaying in the Pink City, Jaipur, with family and friends. He was spotted visiting the Amber Fort. He was also seen at the Indian Grand Prix.
