Sony BBC Earth set to go live, Kareena Kapoor is the brand ambassador.

The factual entertainment channel Sony BBC Earth is a collaboration between Sony Pictures Networks India and BBC Worldwide. The channel will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, and the broadcast will be in both SD as well as HD.

BBC Worldwide is known the world over for its top quality factual entertainment content. The channel will showcase best shows of BBC Earth from around the world. You can see works of leading factual film makers and story tellers like Sir David Attenborough, Steve Backshall, Ben Fogle, Dr Michael Mosley and Gordon Buchanan.

The factual entertainment segment in India is witnessing increased activity lately; the segment is currently dominated by the likes of History TV, Discovery Channel, National Geographic (21st Century Fox).

The spirited, bubbly, full-of-life Kareena Kapoor has been chosen as the ‘Feel Alive’ Brand Ambassador of Sony BBC Earth.
