Suniel Shetty and casting agent Mukesh Chhabra launch online platform to serve film requirements

Suniel Shetty and casting director Mukesh Chhabra have started a company that will serve as a one-stop online platform to meet all kinds of film requirements – from actors, cinematographers and art directors to shooting locations, and even pets on demand.

The online portal will be called ‘F The Couch’.

Sunil shetty is quite excited about the business and feels that in a few months it should be a Rs 100-crore company.

Using the portal, users will be able to search for anything film related. For example, “Hindi lyricist with knowledge of Haryanvi in Vienna for a two day shoot.”

Mukesh Chhabra is credited for discovering some of the finest faces in Bollywood, including Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkummar Rao, as well as Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s Munni, Harshali Malhotra.

Says Chhabra, “The website does not aim to put casting directors out of business but streamline the entire process to make it more authentic.Filmmakers can use the portal to find new faces.Also, the aim is to put an end to practices like the casting couch and fake agents,” the source points out.”
