Numerology at Work?

Grapevine has it that the actor chose the villa on the K Frond, not just because it’s home to the country’s rich and famous, but because it has a numerological connection as well.

K, as all his fans know, is the initial by which he’s famously known: King Khan. The number of the villa, 93, when added up, totals 12, the sum of all the letters in Shah Rukh Khan’s name.

Can Gift Be Taxed?

Though Khan maintains that the villa was a gift from ‘Nakheel’ and not income from business or profession, Indian tax authorities had served a notice to SRK saying that the villa received by Khan “under the guise of a gift” is “actually a consideration in return for lending his name to promote the company”.

However, ‘Nakheel’ have submitted a letter to the IT department saying that Khan had not provided them with any professional services.

Besides, whenever he’s in Dubai for shoots/promotion, the K-93 villa becomes a party hot-spot for his friends who also happen to be in the city around that time.
