Some time back, before Bahubali 2 (Baahubali: The Conclusion) was released, Tamannaah Bhatia had said that she will be playing a crucial part in the climax of Baahubali 2.
“I am primarily the climax of the film. So yes, you will see a lot of me in the climax. Last time, I wasn’t required in the climax but this time, the war will have a lot of me. And I can’t reveal more than this, but I am the reason why the climax takes place,” the actress was quoted as saying in an interview.
I’m sure she, and her fans, will be utterly disappointed to see that Tamannaah has hardly anything to do in the film, she does not even have a single dialogue.
- Bahubali 2 doesn’t answer how Tamannaah (played Avantika in Baahubali) ended up with the guerrilla warriors
- Even though Baahubali 2 ends with with the marriage of Baahubali and Avantika, Tamannaah has no screen presence in the movie, hardly any scenes that focus on her, and shockingly, no dialogues at all.
While we are not sure about the exact reasons, as per grapevine, director Rajamouli chopped off her scenes from the movie as he was upset with the actress for some reasons. The actress, on her part, decided to stay away from any promotional activities.
I am sure Tamannaah’s fans expected to see more of her in the sequel. What do you think? Giving her more scenes would have made the movie better?
