Releasing a video game (based on the movie’s theme) immediately after a film’s launch could be the new strategy employed by the various production houses.
Recently, the official game of Force 2 (starring John Abraham, Sonakshi Sinha) was launched, based on the film’s leading characters who foil an assassination in Budapest.
The movie did decent collection at the box office, and now the thrill of the movie has been recreated in a game by Hungama Digital Media.
“It feels great to see that an all-out action film can be adapted so intriguingly as a game and can be such an engaging experience. The game-play, graphics and overall user experience had me hooked to it completely,” said John Abraham.
The 3D animation game is available on Android and will soon be launched on iOS devices.
In the past, games based on popular Bollywood movies like Ra.One, Krishh, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Don, Ghajini, Dhoom have been released.
Classic Indian movies like ‘Sholay’ and ‘Lagaan’ have also been adapted into games.
There are several websites out there that develop all kinds of casual games, based on Bollywood movies, for everyone.
