Here’s some good news for budding creators, located in India, who always had tons of unique ideas in their heads when it came to creating videos, but didn’t have the funds to hire studios or audio/video equipment. YOUTUBE SPACE, in partnership with Whistling Woods International (WWI) now has the perfect solution for those budding video content creators — they are going to offer FREE studio space to Indian Content Creators (and also students of WWI) to help them with their video production ideas.

YouTube Space Locations
The new YouTube Space will come up in Mumbai and will be located in the Whistling Woods International premises, and will provide cutting edge audio, visual, and editing equipment to the Indian YouTube creator community. Similar YouTube Spaces exist in other cities around the world, such as Los Angeles, New York, London, Sao Paolo, Tokyo, and Berlin (check more at youtube.com/space).
Why YouTube Space in India?
The amount of video content uploaded to YouTube in India has increased phenomenally in the recent past. Some of the videos that have gone viral, such as those by AIB (AIB and The Viral Fever were among the first Indian creators to hit the 1 million subscribers mark on YouTube), have to thanks video sites like YouTube for their success.
YouTube (which is owned by Google) feels that the Indian creator scene is one of the world’s most vibrant YouTube communities, and needs to be provided with better infrastructure as well as training in order to improve the equality of the videos uploaded.
YouTube Space to Provide Training
Besides providing free access to physical studio space, YouTube and WWI will also develop original courses to help budding Indian filmmakers succeed in digital and online media.
