Surrounded by waterfalls and mountains, Norway has a lot to offer to our Bollywood & Indian film industry. Not many movies have been shot here, but hopefully it will change in the future.
Until a few years back, for most Bollywood fans, Europe usually meant the UK or the Switzerland. However, with Indian filmmakers (and even travelers) keen to explore new places, places like Norway are now on the wish-list of many.
In fact, many consider Norway to be a once-in-a-lifetime destination as its one of the most beautiful countries on earth.
Bollywood Movies Shot in Norway
Bollywood movies shot in Norway include Baadshah.
Mohabbat Ho Gayee Hai song from Baadshah (Shahrukh Khan, Twinkle Khanna) was shot at unusual Norwegian locations. Not sure why did the choreogrpaher/director not show the spectacular waterfalls, landscapes and other things. instead the item song was shot at some particularly distinctive sites, such as Norway’s Frogner Park.

Although Bollywood may not have shot a lot of films here, few South Indians films have already been shot in Norway.
‘Ko’ (meaning King) was the first Tamil film to be shot in Norway. Here’s a popular song from that movie which was shot at various locations in Trolltunga, Stalheim, Bergen and Prekestolen in Norway.

Norway Tourism
Because of its sparse population, harsh climate, and relative isolation from the rest of Europe, Norway has fewer opulent palaces and castles, smaller agricultural areas, and longer travel distances, compared to other european countries.
The main tourist attractions of Norway are the fjord-indented coastline and its mountains, the unspoiled nature of the inner parts of the country, and the cities and smaller towns.
