Bollywood Stars Favorite Destinations for Christmas & New Year Holidays The Christmas to New Year holiday break is eagerly awaited even by Bollywood celebrities, and most of them make prior plans to take a New Year break during this period. Though Goa happens to be a favorite destination for many, there are some who prefer to ring in the New Year at a foreign location.

Here are some of the popular destinations where our Bollywood celebrities prefer to go during the Christmas / New Year holiday break.

Goa

A favorite destination for many, especially the youngsters, to ring in the new year. Its not too far and can be planned at the spur of the moment. Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt are some of the celebrities who prefer to be in Goa on New Year’s eve. Priyanka Chopra has a farm house in Goa where she will bring in the new year with her family and a few close friends.

Maldives

For those Bollywood celebrities who seek some privacy and more tranquility, Maldives is the place to be. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Kapoor will be spending the Christmas to New Year holidays in Maldives. The couple have booked an entire villa at a plush hotel in Noonu Atoll, one of the most beautiful beaches in Maldives.

Las Vegas

Again, a destination that most youngsters would love to visit, the only problem is that you need to plan well in advance if you plan to ring in the New Year at Vegas. However, some of our Bollywood celebrities are lucky, as a few Bollywood films are already being filmed at Vegas (ABCD 2 being one of them). Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhudeva are already in Vegas for the film’s shoot, so they’re going to have a blast on New Year’s eve in the casino destination.

South Africa

South Africa is the perfect place for those who love nature and outdoor activities, and which Bollywood celebrity loves outdoor activities? No prize for guessing that one…its Akshay ‘Khiladi’ Kumar. Akshay and family will be spending a couple of weeks in South Africa during this holiday season and also plan to go on a safari, a perfect bonding destination for Akshay’s family.

London / New York

New York and London are amazing cities and its so much fun to be there during the holiday season and see people in the festive mood. Few of our celebrities have family in London (Katrina Kapoor) so she usually heads to London during Christmas. This time, even Ranbir Kapoor will join here, and the couple are then planning to head to New York to ring in the New Year.

Here’s why Bollywood loves New York

Dubai

Several Bollywood stars own properties in Dubai, one of them being King Khan. Shah Rukh will travel to his Dubai home in Palm Jumeirah with his family – wife Gauri Khan, daughter Suhana, and his little one AbRam to ring in the New Year. SRK’s elder son Aryan who’s studying in London will be joining them in Dubai.

Mumbai

Not everybody is leaving Mumbai for New year celebrations. Aamir plans to celebrate New Year at his home in Mumbai with wife Kiran Rao, son Azad and his mother. Salman Khan will be throwing a New Year bash at his Panvel house, and family and friends are invited.
