When you talk about Canada, the major cities that come to the mind are Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, but neither of these cities is the capital of Canada. Ottawa, the capital cit of Canada is a clean, cleverly planned centre of culture and politics in Canada.
In terms of filming, lot of movies ad TV shows get filmed in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, but not much in Ottawa.
I guess that was the reason that the Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson and his delegates were in Mumbai to catch-up with the big production houses of Bollywood. The delegate were in Mumbai to market Ottawa as a filming location, and they even visited Yash Raj Films studio (among the biggest in Bollywood).
QEW Films Inc. signed a deal with Anmol Pictures to co-produce a Bollywood film The Betel Nut Warriors, that will be shot mostly in the city of Ottawa.
