Shah Rukh Khan’s car ran over a photographer’s leg, close to Alia Bhatt’s residence where SRK was headed to attend her birthday bash.
SRK (who has become cautious after the death of a person at Vadodara station) was shocked to see that his car had ran over a photographer’s leg. However, he ensured the photographer was driven to Nanavati hospital (along with his bodyguard) and treated by his personal doctor.
“Shah Rukh was extremely polite and asked the photographers not to be scared. The photographer is a new guy and he got extremely excited to see the actor. He tried his level best to capture Shah Rukh but he didn’t know that he will hurt himself as the car was moving in full speed,” an eye witness of the incident.
SRK was on his way to attend Alia Bhatt’s birthday (they worked together in Dear Zindagi).
During the promotion of ‘Raees’, SRK had travelled by August Kranti Rajdhani train, which resulted in the death of one person (two policemen were also injured) at the Vadodara station.
Farheed Khan Pathan, a local politician from Vadodara, died of cardiac arrest at the station after the crowd went berserk to get a glimpse of Shahrukh Khan. The deceased was the relative of a journalist, who was travelling in the same train (as SRK), and had came to meet her.
Shah Rukh Khan had expressed his grief over the mishap, calling it “extremely unfortunate”.
