Shahrukh Khan wants to set the cash registers ringing with his next release, chalks out plan. Is he finally worried about his career?
At one time, filmmakers would think twice before releasing their films alongside Shahrukh’s movie, but not any longer. In fact, now Shahrukh is making sure that his upcoming movie doesn’t run into a clash with any other big movie.
It seems, finally Shahrukh Khan is worried about his career after his films Fan, Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal did average business at the box office.
For his upcoming film, directed by Anand Rai, he is going through dates to ensure the film doesn’t clash with any other big film. When Dilwale clashed with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, Dilwale lost a few crores business. This time, SRK wants to ensure his film has a clean run at the box office.
“Bank account deposits are the last thing on his mind. What affects him is that he might be losing the love of people,” says Anand Rai.
So does it mean Shahrukh won’t be releasing his movie during Diwali, Christmas or Eid to get the maximum audience? Probably not, because other top filmmakers release their movies during that time.

Some time back an article was published on a leading entertainment portal which had pointed out how legendary actor Dilip Kumar started choosing different kind of roles (to suit his age) in his fifties, after his movies featuring him as the lead hero failed at the box office.
While actors today look much younger than their age, which gives SRK another few years to continue doing the kind of roles he does normally, if his upcoming films also fail, then SRK may have to start picking up different kinds of roles (which will have a younger hero in the film).
Well, we genuinely hope this doesn’t happen anytime soon.
However, not just the trade pundits, even his fans are eagerly waiting for SRK to deliver. We too want Shahrukh Khan to bounce back with his next film!
