Vaani Kapoor undergoes plastic surgery for Befikre, but her fans are disappointed, who liked her earlier avatar.

A friend of mine, after seeing the trailer of YRF’s Befikre starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, for the first time thought that the movie had an actress of foreign origin. it was only later he came to know that the actress was none other than Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor.

There are reports that Vaani Kapoor underwent plastic surgery to get facial transformation, in order to suit the role (she played French born Indian girl in the movie). Well after all, a Yash Raj film is very difficult to resist, almost every newcomer would wan to be part of one.

Vaani Kapoor however denied going under the knife.

“I have lost weight; my face is bound to look different. We shot in Paris when it was freezing; the cameras keep zooming in and out. The face looks different from different angles. I can’t afford surgery, I am only one-film old,” said Vaani Kapoor in an interview.

The actress had vanished from the Bollywood scene after debuting in ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ (Vaani did act in the Tamil remake of ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, also produced by Aditya Chopra), and the news of her comeback in Befikre had rumour mills working overtime. There were rumours of her getting close to Aditya Kapoor, which even prompted Rani Mukherjee to leave everything and fly down to the sets of Befikre.

Vaani Kapoor, who was appreciated in her debut film Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), has been in the news for Befikre too, but for all wrong reasons (ever since the trailer was released). Social media was abuzz after Vaani got her chin surgery and lip job to enhance overall facial features.

Well, we are not sure how Vaani Kapoor is going to set this right…another plastic surgery perhaps?.

Priyanka Chopra says her nose is the original one, denies doing any nose job / plastic surgery.

At a chat show recently, Priyanka Chopra spoke about the issue of body shaming. She spoke about the challenges (bad experiences) she faced before she entered Bollywood (the hindi film industry).

“Before I became an actor, I met a producer about the possibility of acting. And he said that everything was wrong about me. He said my nose was not proportionate, the shape of my body was not proportionate,” Priyanka after winning the Miss World pageant.

So what about PC’s nose?
I’m sure her fans would want to know if she did get a nose job done because there were strong rumours that she went under the knife for her nose.

Here’s what Miss Chopra said on the chat show.

“Yes, this is my original nose. There is such a false perception about what women should look like and what our bodies should look like. Especially when you are in the business, you put on a couple of pounds and people are like..body shaming you. It happens. Christmas happens to all of us. I have Holi, I have Diwali, and my body fluctuates and I am fine with it,” Priyanka

In this case, why the actress decided to opt for the surgery is not clear, because she didn’t seem to have any weight related issues, although her friends say that Aarthi felt that she needed to reduce weight. The actress was undergoing treatment, and due to some complications, she suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away.

Arthi was born and brought up in United states, and was a popular name in Telugu cinema and had also worked in Hindi and Tamil movies.
