Even if you’re not fond of gadgets, an iPhone is definitely on the ‘to-buy’ list for many. And mind you, compared to other smartphones, an iPhone is definitely expensive. In India, the latest iPhone can easily cost around Rs. 50 to 60k.

But did it ever occur to you that for the same amount of money, you can actually go for an international vacation! Well, of-course not Europe, but definitely somewhere nearby.

Take a look at these international destinations that will cost you almost the same as an iPhone 6 (it would be a budget trip and you need to plan a few months in advance.)

  1. Bhutan
    Bhutan shares its borders with India. Its a beautiful country known for its green forests, ancient monasteries and unique culture.

    Nepal shares its borders with India. Home to some of the biggest mountains in the world, the country is a trekker’s delight (do check the latest advisory).

    Very close to south India, Sri Lanka is famous for its beautiful beaches, temples, wildlife sanctuaries!

    Thailand is inexpensive yet a very happening destination that can be visited on a budget.

    Vietnam may not be a world-renowned destination yet, but it has plenty of attractive locations to offer.

  6. Indonesia
    While Bali is the more popular destination, Indonesia has several more tourist attractions. The country is known for its beaches, volcanoes and jungles sheltering elephants, tigers and Komodo dragons.

    Qatar offers an excellent introduction to the Arab world and has several attractive locatins waiting to allure visitors.

  8. Singapore
    Just 5 hours away from India, Singapore is an exciting place that blends Asian and European cultures.

    Most tourists try to club Malaysia along with Singapore travel, but that can increase the cost. You may chose to go only to Malasia as well, the country offers several beautiful locations
