Here we explore the city of Jaipur situated in Rajasthan.

Its one of the most popular places in India, especially among tourists, who love to see the glorious lifestyle and royal tastes of the former rulers. No wonder, its a favorite with Bollywood filmmakers as well.

Films Shot in Jaipur

There are several Indian films that have been shot in the pink city, but the most recent one (& successful at the box-office) is “Shuddh Desi Romance”. Some scenes of the film were shot at Raj Mandir (Jaipur) which is the oldest art deco theatre and a very well known place in Rajasthan.

Watch the Gulabi song from Shuddh Desi Romance, with stunning backdrop. The movies has been shot at picturesque locations around the city.

Earlier, Rang De Basanti was shot in Jaipur. The songs Paathshaala & Khalbali Hai Khalbali were sot at the Reservoir inside Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur.

Jodha Akbar, starring Hrithik Roshan & Aishwarya Rai, has also been extensively shot in Jaipur and other locations in Rajasthan.
