Owning a property has always been considered a wise investment, especially if you take a very long term view. The Government of India now has made it easy for Indian nationals to invest in international real estate as well. Of course, most HNI’s (high net individuals) are happy and taking advantage of that option.
Even our Bollywood stars are not too far behind when it comes to owning a property abroad, considering the fact that they have the moolah (most movies gross more than 200 crores just in the domestic market).

Besides, most of them understand the real estate business, compared to investing in stocks or investing in other businesses. And because they love holidaying in exotic foreign locales, most of them also have invested in a property abroad.
Lets take a look at our Bollywood businessmen, who are also astute investors. These stars have invested in places like Dubai, London, Mauritius, Canada.

Akshay Kumar has served as Canada’s tourism ambassador to India and so you would definitely expect him to own real estate in Canada. such is his fan-following in Canada, that he considers that north american country as his second home.
