Shahrukh Khan Impressed With Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
Shahrukh Khan stayed at the Marina Bay Sands as part of the Zee Cine Awards ceremony (2011). SRK, along with several other India’s leading artistes were in Singapore and were felicitated for their accomplishments in the Indian film industry for the year.
Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s Vegas, made sure the event turned out to be an extravaganza, and the opulence of Bollywood was in full flow throughout the event, which was held at Sands Grand Ballroom, among Southeast Asia’s largest ballroom’s. In addition to selling tickets for the event, Marina Bay Sands also offered exclusive packages that combined attractive rates for hotel room stays and show tickets.
King Khan stayed at a luxurious suite at the hotel and was indeed impressed with the grandeur of the entire property, and considered it to one of the most fantastic hotels he had seen.
Shah Rukh Khan, ICICI bank’s global brand ambassador, donated $100,000 (on behalf of ICICI) to local self-help group Singapore Indian Development Association (Sinda). The money was meant to help financially disadvantaged Indian children in their studies.
