Tourism Ireland says it has been a great year for Tourism with more people travelling to Ireland.
Besides the several promotional initiatives (Ireland’s Ancient East, the Wild Atlantic Way) & increased access due to new flights, Screen tourism generated by the Star Wars movies and the Game of Thrones TV series, is also being credited for attracting visitors.
“Screen tourism will remain a priority in the coming years, in order to maximise the potential such productions can bring to the sector,” Tourism Ireland CEO.
