Countries like Spain, Austria and Switzerland, all have featured in blockbuster movies and TV shows and these regions continue to see a healthy increase in the number of train travelers. The biggest increase in rail bookings was for Switzerland.
Film tourism can help put lesser known destinations on the radar for travelers, while increasing visitor numbers to major urban hubs.
In Europe, the rail network is extremely wide, covers several countries, is highly efficient, convenient and also turns out to be cost effective for rail travelers.
