If you’re fond of watching movies and spend most of the time over the weekend glued to the television, chances are that you would have seen a few hindi-dubbed Telugu movies. Most of them are typical masala films, with high doses of comedy; and one of the best comedians is Brahmanandam Kanneganti. His mere presence in the scene puts a smile on the face of the viewer.

Brahmanandam Kanneganti is not just a popular comedian, he is a veteran actor who has acted in over 1,000 films, mostly Telugu movies. He also holds the Guinness World Record for the maximum film credits for any living actor. Brahmanandam was honoured with a Padma Shri in 2009 and is amongst the highest paid actors in India.

Brahmanandam Kanneganti recently underwent a bypass heart surgery in Mumbai, at the Asian Heart Institute (AHI), under the guidance of renowned heart surgeon Ramakanta Panda.

Fans were shocked to hear the news and sent their prayers and blessings through social media.
