A billboard in Chennai fondly remembered former South African president & anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson Mandela. They put up a huge poster to commemorate Nelson Mandela (and also included smaller images of other great politicians).
However, the guys who were asked to design the poster did a minor mistake; they put up the picture of Morgan Freeman instead of the late Nelson Mandela. Alongside Freeman, the poster included images of Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King Jr.

The text on the poster said, “Among today’s politicians who cannot think beyond the next election cycle, Nelson Mandela was a leader who thought of the well-being of future generations. He went to join Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King on 5.12.13. We bow down to him, proud to have lived during his time on earth and praise his message of love, non-violence and sacrifice. “The farmer may sleep, but the seeds he planted never will.
The man responsible for the poster plans to have it amended.”
Well, the designers should have taken due care. But there’s no doubt that Morgan Freeman closely resembles Mandela. And that was also one of the reasons that Morgan Freeman was chosen to play the role of Nelson Mandela in the Hollywood movie ‘Invictus’.
