Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan will be the voice of Mufasa and Simba for the Hindi version of The Lion King. Social media says its Nepotism as Aryan Khan hardly has any experience to bag this prestigious job.
‘The Lion King’ is one of the biggest blockbusters of Hollywood, and after the huge success of Jungle King, it was a matter of time before ‘The Lion King’ was remade.
‘The Lion King’ will be releasing in cinema halls shortly and fans are excited to watch one of their films on the big screen (the trailer has already got millions of hits).
The Lion King will also be dubbed in Hindi in India.
While Shahrukh Khan will be lending his voice for the character of Mufasa, his son Aryan Khan will be the voice of the protagonist Simba, and that has not gone down well with people, judging by their reaction on social media.
Shah Rukh Khan had tweeted about his excitement of collaborating with Aryan yet again for this big project. “Glad to be a part of this journey… a timeless film. Voicing it in Hindi with my own Simba. The last time we did a film was around 15 years ago and it was ‘Incredible’ and this time around its even more fun. Hope everyone enjoys it 19th July onwards. #TheLionKing”, tweeted SRK.
But as soon as the news broke, people started pointed out the nepotism angle saying SRK’s son got this opportunity only because he was Sharukh’s son.
When even Disney knows that Bharat mein #TheLionKing jaisi strong script bechne ke iye bhi nepotism ka sahara lena padega.
Yes, we deserve it.
Also, no problem that Aryan wants 2 do films, but handing him TLK on a platter to debut is what nepotism is all about. https://t.co/xeLiN8DOXH— Lakshya Mittal (@LakshyaMittal2) June 17, 2019
