There are some fans who like film and television stars for their looks, for their attitude, for their singing or dancing skills, and its quite common for them to want to take autographs or take pictures with their favorite stars. But then there are some fans who get so much attached to the character that they see onscreen, that they do something really unique, something much bigger than just taking pictures.
This is what one ardent fan did to television star Gurmeet Choudhary.
An 83-year-old lady from Chandigarh, who lost her only son, has been following the actor’s journey from television to films and apparently sees the Khamoshiyan actor as her only son that she had lost.
And here’s what she did!
She has written an expensive bungalow in the name of Gurmeet Choudhary!
And she has also made him the nominee of a big life insurance policy, so that when she dies, Gurmeet gets all the money from the life insurance policy.
The relevant documents were reportedly sent to the actor.
However, the television actor was uncomfortable with those gifts; he got the policy closed and returned the property documents to the elderly lady.
However, the lady has been requesting her to accept those gifts. She has been writing letters and sending cheques too, to try and convince him to accept the policy and the bungalow.
Gurmeet says, “I met the lady and told her that I’ll rather take her blessings. That’s more valuable for me. While I appreciate the gesture, with all due respect to her, I explained that this shouldn’t be done. I’m lucky to be loved so much by my fans.”
