Kareena Kapoor Khan, who will be seen in Veere Di Wedding, alongside Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania, had shot for Veere Di Wedding while she was pregnant. In fact, she took a short break from the silver screen for some time after becoming a mom.
Currently, the promotion of the movie is in full swing, even the trailer was released with much funfare. However, an insider reveals that Kareena Kapoor is not happy with the way she has been clubbed with the rest for the promotion of the movie.
The movie is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor (sister of Sonam Kapoor), and it seems they had promised something else to Kareena Kapoor. Kareena Kapoor Khan was promised a solo promotion campaign by the Kapoor sisters, but that hasn’t happened yet, which has kind of upset Kareena.
Well, we were just wondering how come these girls got along so well, without any catfights.
However, Sonam Kappor ignored it saying, “Such gossip doesn’t bother us because we are in a secure space. Bebo and I are third generation of actors (in our families) and we know how the media functions. We are great friends. We had a blast (while shooting Veere).”
Sonam’s sister, Rhea, posted a picture on Instagram of sonam and Kareena together with the caption, “And they say actresses can’t be friends.”
Bollywood Actresses Learn to Forgive & Forget: No More Catfights
The women in Bollywood seem to have matured, are more professional, and are setting their focus on bigger things than getting into trivial things like cat-fights. And the younger crop of actresses are more than happy to forgive & forget. Some time back, actress Gul Panag had said in an interview that, “Women are their worst enemies.” And its probably true considering the amount of coverage given to cat-fights by gossip mills and magazines (after all they make for a great story).
Remember Madhuri Dixit’s infamous rivaly with Juhi Chawla & Sridevi?
Remember the famous Priyanka Chopra & Kareena Kapoor catfight during the movie ‘Aitraaz’?
Unfortunately for the gossip mills, Bollywood catfights now seem to be a thing of the past. The younger crop of actresses say nice things about each other, and even bond at parties!
Take a look at these.
Deepika Padukone and Kangna Ranaut
They both are fighting for the top position in Bollywood, and although they don’t seem to be very comfortable with one another, the competition is healthier.
Much has been written about their catfights. When Kangana was asked about Deepika’s Hollywood debut, Kangana replied saying that the future is Asia & not America.
But Deepika had dedicated her Best Popular Actress award in 2015 to Kangna Ranaut for her super performance in Queen.
So they are competing, but they are all for ‘love’ as well.
Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra
They say time is the biggest healer. Priyanka and Kareena never saw eye to eye after their catfight (over screen space) in the film Aitraaz. A decade later both are more mature and more confident.
Kareena recently said about Priyanka’s achievements, “The way Priyanka has put India out there, and done so well for herself, is amazing. I feel proud of her.” And Priyanka, whose career is rocking, praised Kareena in the movie, Ki & Ka.
This film is everything #KiAndKa @arjunk26 #KareenaKapoor and the team! Well done! Can't wait to c it! #proud https://t.co/0Y6dhzeIzf

Kangna Ranaut and Kareena Kapoor
One belongs to the Kapoor Khandaan while the other is an outsider in the industry. But they are all praise for each other.
In a recent interview, Kangna had many positive things to say about Kareena, “Kareena has raised the bar. She is the epitome of a modern woman. From Geet (Jab We Met) to Kia (Ki and Ka), she has always set the standards high for all of us. Her character in Ki and Ka is about role reversal and how women are participating in every field in every way. This is a progressive film.”
Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone
You know what the common link here is? Its Ranbir Kapoor! He’s the reason Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone share an awkward equation. But things seem to have calmed down.
Wen Katrina was asked about Deepika and Ranbir’s pairing in Tamasha, she seemed quite unperturbed, “I don’t have an opinion on the matter. Deepika is a great actress, and will make a great pair with any male actor. She make a great pair with both Ranbir and Ranveer.”
