Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan have been ruling the box office for several years now.
However, the younger actors – Varun Dhawan, Tiger Shroff, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor or Sushant Singh Rajput – all are hungry to become the next superstars of Bollywood.
Although they all are not yet up to the levels of the current superstars, the equation will change in the future.
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has an interesting take on the whole comparison thing, and has some practical advice (and even warning) for the younger lot.
The Younger Lot Will Take Over Eventually
Salman Khan is fully aware that the younger actors will eventually take over and rule the film industry (just like what Salman, Khan, Shah Rukh, Akshay did to their seniors). But Salman says that they will have to sweat it out for that.
“We will have to retire gracefully. The younger generation is going to come and take over. But I think we guys are going to make it really difficult for them and give them a hard time for their money. We will make them run and run. That’s what our seniors did to us and that’s what we should do to our juniors,” Salman.
Don’t Carry Away By Stardom
“Sometimes, you do start thinking of no end to yourself and everyone goes through that phase. Even I’ve been through that. The sooner you understand that phase, that it’s a wrong or bad phase to be in, you will be fine.”
Salman says that actors should not disappoint their fans because that’s the worst thing. They will be heartbroken, they will miss your movies. You have to take care and maintain yourself.
